A respected Southern California real estate executive and officer with Mira Mesa Shopping Center, Elliot Feuerstein has overseen the development and management of numerous retail projects. Elliot Feuerstein is also involved in his community and supports a wide range of nonprofit organizations, including the Youth Tennis San Diego (YTSD) Foundation.
YTSD operates the Barnes Tennis Center and offers a full range of programs that combine education with athletic and social skills. One of its main programs is After School Tennis, which provides middle school and elementary students with six-week sessions at an affordable price. With equipment and insurance provided, and a scholarship available, the program ensures that students of all backgrounds get the chance to compete, learn, and have fun.
To raise funds for the After School Tennis program and other initiatives, YTSD recently hosted a MatchPoint Beach Ball. The event took place last October at the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club and featured classic 1960's surfer music and cocktails.
