ICSC Plans Western Conference and Deal Making Event

A longtime real estate executive in San Diego, CA, Elliot Feuerstein currently serves as an officer with the Mira Mesa Shopping Center. Elliot Feuerstein attends numerous trade shows throughout the year, including those held by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Founded by a small group of seven businesspeople in 1957, the ICSC has evolved into the world's largest professional organization devoted to the retail and shopping center industry. Each year, the organization supports its more than 70,000 members through policy advocacy, educational opportunities, and research publications. Additionally, the ICSC hosts major professional events throughout the year, including its annual Western Conference and Deal Making event.
The 2018 Western Conference and Deal Making event will be held October 8-10 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. The event will bring together more than 4,000 attendees for three days of networking, professional development seminars, and deal-making opportunities. There will also be a broad offering of events designed specifically for students and emerging retail professionals.
Tom McGee, president of ICSC, will host this year’s keynote panel, titled The Future of Retail. Other panelists will include Walmart executive JP Suarez, Big Red Rooster managing director Vicki Eickelberger, and Google executive Mike Haswell.
